Community Groups
You are invited.
Cancer can feel like a lonely, isolated journey. Whether you have been diagnosed yourself, or if you’re a family member, close friend or colleague - there is power in community. We want to connect and come alongside individuals and families impacted by cancer - whether they are past or present battles. Forming supportive groups within the communities where we live and work, you’re invited to join with others who truly understand. With the freedom to share tears of joy and sorrow, to question and to ponder, we gather together in a place of safety, where it’s always okay to ask hard questions and where we prefer meaningful conversation.
What You Can Expect at Brevity
A safe and welcoming space
You are not required to have the right words, strong faith, or a positive outlook. This is a place where honesty is welcomed and pressure is absent.
Compassionate presence
We believe showing up matters. Whether through conversation, prayer, or quiet companionship, we come alongside without trying to fix what cannot be fixed.
Respect for your journey
Everyone’s cancer experience is different. We honour where you are—emotionally, physically, and spiritually.
Hope without pretending
We don’t minimize the reality of cancer. Instead, we hold space for hope that is steady, rooted, and real—even on hard days.
Faith-centered support
Our ministry is grounded in the love of Jesus. For those who desire it, we offer spiritual encouragement, prayer, and reflection—always shared with gentleness and care.
